Advocate Mr. Syed Hashim Adil gets the International Human Rights Defender's Award for the year 2021

New Delhi 10 Dec 2021: It is our privilege to share this news that Brother Syed Hashim Adil an Advocate at High Court of Telangana, Hyderabad, who is also practicing at City Civil Court, Hyderabad and Editor at Roz Naama Urdu Awaz-e-Dost and a Human Rights & RTI activist  has been recognized and awarded the International Human Rights Defender's Award for the year 2021 at India International Center, New Delhi on 7^th December 2021.

A total 15 persons from different parts of India and who have contributed a lot to the society were honoured with the Honorary Doctorate and 20 persons representing various fields including, Social Service, Rights Activists, Educationists, Advocates, Politicians and Actors were awarded with a Medallion and a Citation, which were presented by Shri. Anubhav Mohanty, Member of Parliament (BJD) from Kendrapara, Odisha. 

Mr. Sashi Kumar president of International Human Rights Defender's Federation thanked the dignitaries and awardees and further pledged to strengthen the awareness of Human Rights in India and all the state members will take the same message of Human Rights Protection, Awareness, Advocacy to nook and corner of their respective States. Mr. Sashi Kumar said that many International Organizations and Diplomatic Missions in India appreciate the programs conducted by the IHRDF and assured their full cooperation and coordination for the upcoming events.

IHRDF is a people-welfare organization that strives to secure a bright future for all deprived children and people. The charitable committee frames policies and conducts fundraising events that lift children out of poverty, protect them from trafficking and exploitations, and assure their right to equal education and care. People’s support and their voice against any ill-treatment are significant to our doing. Substantial public support bolsters the efforts of IHRDF.

Expressing his happiness Adv Syed Hashim Adil said ‘I am really delighted to receive the honour and happy that my humble social work is recognised.’

‘The award really inspires me to do more and I will continue with my social work as an Advocate, Journalist, Human Rights & RTI activist and a responsible citizen” – Hashim Adil added.

It is noteworthy to mention that Syed Hashim Adil's father Late Hazrath Syed Dawood Rafeeque, also a renowned personality of our community and he was former Editor in chief Awaz-e-Dost Urdu Daily Hyderabad and a famous Urdu Poet too. Brother Adil is a Mureed of Hazrath Peer o Murshid Syed Attan  Khundmeeri (Salman Miyan) Musheerabad, Hyderabad and has pursued  LL.B at Osmania University and also an accredited senior journalist.
