As we are just a few hours away from the holy month of
Ramazan, and everyone is anxiously waiting to see the Crescent of Ramazan as a
divine command to start Tararavi and Roza. We would like to keep you informed
about the various arrangements done by Mehdavia Jamats across the world
particularly away from daira. Kindly support us with any such information to be

In this post, we would like to inform you where you
can offer Namaz-e-Taravee in Bangalore, Karnataka. Alhamdulillah, in Bangalore,
we have 3 permanent venues and one more is added for temporary arrangements for
the month of Ramazan.

Matadahalli: Alhamdulillah
Jamiat-e-Mahdavia, Matadahalli is one of the oldest Jamat Khana of Mehdavis, and
serves the community by arranging various activities such as major behr-e-Aams,
namaz-e-eidain, meelad, jalsa etc. moreover ensures to organize Taravee Prayers
with completion of Quran since many years. The Jamat Khana is located in RT
Nagar Bangalore, it is convenient for people residing in the northern portion
of Bangalore, well connected by BMTC bus. Please ensure to park your cars on
Devegowda Road, though some two-wheelers can be parked around the premises. Alhamdulillah,
the premises has ample space for men and a Separate floor is dedicated to women
too.

Mehdavia Charitable Trust, Kalasipalya: MashaAllah, MMCT is also one of the oldest Jamat Khana
is located in the City Market Area / Kalasiplaya in Bangalore, which is a major
business hub in the heart of the city and in close proximity to Private Bus
Stand, BMTC Bus stop, and Metro Station too. If you are coming by metro you
need to get down at Vanivilas / KR Market Station. MMCT regularly organizes Namaz-e-Jumma,
Namaz-e-Eidain, Lailatul Qadr, Major Behr-e-Aam, Taravee. This location is convinent
for the people recising around City Market, Gurdahlalli, Basvangudi, BTM Layout
and other southern part of Bangalore City. At present, arrangements have been
done to offer the first ten Taravees, later depending upon the situation they
may also extend it to the full month.

Mehdavia Farha Masjid, Nayandhalli. This location
is more convenient to mehdavis in the western part of Bangalore, and those who
are residing around Mysore road. Alhamdulillah, this is said to be the first fully-fledged
masjid in Bangalore city to have a dedicated Imam and also run a madrasa on a
regular basis. Alhamdulillah, the premises has ample space for men and a Separate
floor is dedicated to women too. It is well connected by BMTC bus and the metro
(Attiguppe station) is about 2 KMs or Nayandhalli Station also about 2
