Dear Brothers in Faith
As Salamu (PEACE) Alaikum Rahmathullahi Wa Barakatahu.
Tolerance is the attitude that should govern the dealings of all people with one another. Religious tolerance is an essential principle of Islam and Muslims are ordered to have good relations with people of all religions and be kind and courteous to everyone.
We start our conversation with Salam (Peace), and the meaning of Islam is PEACE but we do not enter into peace soon after conflicts.
It is very painful to note that the prevailing conditions of the Most Vibrant Daira of Qoum e Mehdavia, Channapatna is losing its shine due to Unacceptable, anti social Incidents like Attacks in speeches, sermon's stages and now physically too.
It is very sad to hear that On 23rd Jan 2016 night there was an attack on the house of Janab Syed Shafiullah Khundmiri Saheb by some people who are against him.
WE STRONGLY CONDEMN SUCH AN UN ISLAMIC ACT.
WE ARE A VERY SMALL COMMUNITY, LET US STOP DIVISIONS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH AND LIVE IN SOLIDARITY AND UNITY. TOGETHER WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL.
Let us maintain brotherhood for the betterment of our community so that we can develop, enrich, empower and enable each other to do the righteous things in the way of Allah SWT.
What is required from us in such a situation is that we make peace between them for the sake of Allah and not elaborating it to spoil the entire community.
Allah Subhanawatala says in Sura al Hujaraat verse 10 that “The believers are naught else than brothers. Therefore make PEACE between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain Mercy.”
And, noble, indeed is the act of making peace and reconciling between two arguing parties. In fact, it is superior to voluntary fasting.
The Prophet (Salallaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) is reported (al-Tirmidhi- Hasan) to have said: “Shall I not tell you of something that is better than fasting, prayer and charity?” The Companions said: Yes. He (sas)said: “Reconciling between two people, for the corruption of that which is between the hearts is the shaver (destroyer). It is the shaver, and I do not say that it shaves hair, rather that it shaves religious commitment.” Subhaan Allaah! What a message we have, better than fasting, prayer and charity! That just goes to show you how important it is for us to reconcile between people and establish PEACE.
Further Hz.Abu Umama rz said: “Walk a mile to visit a sick person and walk two miles to visit your brother for the sake of Allah and walk three miles to make PEACE between two.”
But alas!. it has become common that people, instead of making peace adding fuel and blazing it further to spread the fire of disharmony.
Our Humble Request to all our Brothers to try to establish PEACE in our community for the sake of ALLAH Subhana wa tala and his bellowed Khatimain Alaihis Salaam(Peace).?
The best solution to stop controversies is to IGNORE them for the sake of Allah, the more we argue the more controversies get created and the more divisions will be witnessed in our small community for which our elders have struggled a lot to keep it alive till now as ONE single community.
