As salamu Alaikum Rahmathullahi wa Barakatahu. 

Alhamdulillah, after a gap of two years Mehdavis world over are gearing up to celebrate Lailatul Qadr this year. Though we all offered Lailatul Qadr prayers individually or at small gatherings,due to the unfortunate Pandemic which we all witnessed during the last couple of years.

Dear Brothers, as every year, we humbly request all the organisers of Lailatul Qadr Arrangements and the Masajid & Jamath Khana Management Committees to kindly fill the following form so as to compile the Lailatul Qadr Schedule World Wide - 2022  and publish the same for the benefit of one and all.

This listing has been helping many Mehdavi Brothers & their families to locate our Jamats which are spread across the globe. We also request our brothers to help their Masjids / Jamat Khanas to publish their schedule here even if the Masjids / Jamat Khanas is located in the remotest place.

Hazrath Peer-o-Murshid Syed Mubarak Ishaqui Sahab Qibla is visiting Dubai to lead Farz Namaz-e-Lailatul Qadr and Conduct a series of Deeni Mehfils During the Holy Month of Ramazan 1443 H

Dubai 13 April 2022 / 12 Ramazan 1443h:

It is glad to inform you all that, this year Markaz-e-Mehdavia (Farah Committee) has invited Peer-o-Murshid Syed Mubarak Ishaqui Sahab Qibla ahl-e-Mandya, Karnataka to lead Farz Namaz-e-Lailatul Qadr and Conduct a series of Deeni Mehfils During the Holy Month of Ramazan 1443 H (2022) in UAE. 

As the Farah Committee believes in arranging sessions for Sohbat-e-Sadiqeen as per the Quranic verse “O you who believe, be conscious of Allah SWT and keep the company with those who are true to their word (9:119)”, they keep arranging Such mehfils since its inception in the 1990, consistently for the mehdavia brethren living in in UAE specially during Ramadan. 

Murshid arrived in Dubai on 12th  Ramadan 1443 h (13th April 2022) and he will leading the Farz Dugana Lailatul Qadr prayers this year and will be stationed at Al Jabri Building, Al Nahda 1 - Dubai, during his stay.  Though we was planned to visit Dubai two years back itself, due to pandemic it got delayed.

In Sha Allah activities will start with the Bahr-e-Aam of Hz Bandagi Miyan Malik Illahdad khalifa-e-Grooh RaziAllahu Anhu on 13th Ramadan. He will be conducting daily congregational prayers and deliver sermons on various topics at the venue. He will be returning back from UAE on 27th Ramazan 1442 H (next day of Lailatul Qadr) Insha Allah.

FCE has extended invitation to all the musaddiqeen living in UAE to attend the daily sessions lead by Peer-o-Murshid to avail the opportunity to be in his Sohbat and get benefitted from his Sermons and offer Namaz ba Jamat.

About Murshid: Peer-o-Murshid Syed Mubarak Ishaqui Sahab Qibla an acclaimed Qari-e-Quran and Fazil-e-Deoband is a resident of Mehdavia Sadath Nagar, Mandya. His father Hz. Peer-o-Murshid Syed Ishaq Miyan Ishaqui Taaseer Saheb Marhum and Younger Brother and Khalifa-e-Raashed of Hz. Peer-o-Murshid Al Haj Syed Hussain Miyan Ishaqui Saheb. At present he is serving Mehdavia Sadath Masjid, Mandya along with his elder brother.  

About Organiser: Farah Committee Emarat (FCE) was started as 'Daira Mehdavia Dubai'  on 1st April 1990 by a group of Mehdavi Expats who were working in Dubai some of them worth mentioning here are Janab Syed Noor-ul-Huda (Najeeb) Saheb, Janab Syed Abdullah Rehbar Saheb, Janab Waheed Ashraf Sahebm Janab HasanAli Bozai Khan Saheb, Jana Ghulam Ahmed Khan Saheb,  and Janab Syed Burhanuddin Rashed Saheb.  After five years of its inception the organisation got renamed to be Farah Committee Emarat (FCE). When The sole objective of FCE is to congregate Mehdavi Brethern frequently and facilitate them experience a daira away from their own dairas, which Alhamdulliah FCE is fulfilling year on year. FCE has been inviting various murshideen from different geographies to cater to the spiritual needs of the mehdavi expats living in and around UAE. At present the responsibilities of FCE activities are shouldered by following Janab Syed Zaheeruddin Rizwan saheb being its President, Janab Mahboob Miyan being its Vice President and Janab Mohammed Ali Khan Saheb being its Secretary. Though we have mentioned the contribution and involvement of some of the key men of FCE, women also are not behind in serving the the community and are involved in preparations of the programs both actively and passively.

Mehdavia Times takes this opportunity to wish both the Murshid and the Organisers all the best for the smooth conduct and success of the series of programs. Alhamdulillah the First & Second International Essay Writing Competitions of 2020 & 2021 which were done during the last couple of Ramazans were very successful as we got very good response in all the categories. We have also published select essay in our blog for your reading, hope you all went through them and reaped the benefits.

We take this opportunity to announce The 3^rd Mehdavia Times International Essay Writing Competition Ramazan - 1443 H – 2022 and invite the applications from all the participants to take part in large numbers.

Objective of this Competition:

• To encourage spirit of reading, referring religious books,
• To develop understanding Islamic & Mehdavia history,
• To encourage discussing and seeking guidance from elders of our community and murshideen,
• To ensure adoption of continuous learning, and developing effective communication skills, and

The prime reason to choose this topic is to build good character and develop good manners in the light of Quran, Hadiths, Naqliyat and Seerath of Khatimain AH and Buzurgane-e-Deen display the same, as we all are witnessing peculiar situations in our nations at present.

Guidelines on Format & Content

All entries should follow the following rules strictly

• Where & How to send: by Email to mehdaviatimes@gmail.com
• References from Quran, Hadiths, Naqliath and Seerath should be mentioned / quoted
• You may share your experiences w.r.t the topic.
• The essay should be sent in M.S word format
• References should be given at the end of the essay, in proper sequence and numbering
• It is always recommended to get it authenticated by your parents / murshid.
• Quranic verses should be properly mentioned (Surah No. XX | Verse No. YY)
• Copying and pasting from other sources is not encouraged, suggest to present any topic that has high relevance to the need of the hour.
• There has to be consistency between title and subject.
• It is highly recommended to add the practical / realistic flavour to any topic that you select.
• Entries received after Ramazan will not be included for this competition, however we may consider them for our next competition or publication.

Evaluation Process: All essays will be evaluated by an evaluation panel for which Mehdavia Times will identify eminent scholars and senior writers / teachers from our community for each language, and weighted average score will be given. Shafiya Farhin d/o Faqeer Y. Shafiullah Khan Mandya has been Awarded Doctorate in Hindi from University of Mysore

Mandya 28 Feb 2022: I take immense pleasure to  announce that my cousin (Chacheri Behen) Ms. Shafiya Farhin d/o Faqeer Y. Shafiullah Khan Mandya mureed of Hz. Mashayaq Maulana Maulvi Syed Mubarak Ishaqui has been Awarded Doctorate in Hindi from University of Mysore on the thesis entitled "Ikkisvin Sadi ke Pramukh Hindi Upanyason men Vividh Vimarsh" under the Supervision of a renowned Academician Prof Dr Pratibha Mudliar.

Dear friends, achieving a doctorate degree is not an easy deal. One has to sacrifice a lot to earn this, no doubt Farhin has achieved her Ph.D. after a lot of hardships and she deserves to be praised wholeheartedly. A Ph.D. or Doctorate is the highest form of education that anyone can ever get and this is not just a degree. As the degree will bring a new perspective into one’s life, let him/her enjoy the moment for achieving the hard-earned doctorate degree.

It is worth informing that she also participated in our Mehdavia Times Second International Essay Writing Competition - 2021 and had taken a Certificate of Commendation for her article in Hindi titled 'कोरोना काल में मेहदवियों के कर्तव्य'.
