Aap tamaam ku ittila dijarahi hai ke Corona Virus ke Dabao se bachne ke liye zaruri hai ke paaki saafi ka khas khayal rakha jaye. Aur ruju Allah tauba astaqfar karte huve Namazon Zikullallah aur Quran-e-Paak ki tilawat ki taraf tawajja zarori hai. Apne aapke hifazat kartehuve bachon par nazar rakhen, bahar ki koi shai khane aur istemal karne se manaa Karen. Bachon ku paak o saaf rehne targeeb den. Aur gharon se bahar nikalne se kuch din ke liye manaa Karen.

Ab in tawajja talb baton par khaas qayal rakhen;

1.       Har ek fard par zaroori hai ke paaki safai ka khas khayal rakhen.

2.       Istenja paikhana ya baitul qula apne ghar ka istemal Karen.

3.       Apne haaton ku hamesha saabon se ke zariye paak-o-saaf rakhen aur apne atraaf ka mahoul paak-o-saaf rakhen.

4.       Har hamesha ba wazu rehne ki saadath hasil Karen.

5.       Apni zaati dasti ya towel aur topi alheda istemaal Karen aur ghar se hi wazu banakar masjid jayen. Aur sajde ki jagah apna towel ya dasti rakkar ispar sajda Karen.

6.       Ek dusre se apne haaton ku milane se guzar Karen.

7.       Is dabao ke baare me mashor hai ke naak aur moo se phailti hai, isliye wazu karne walon ke liye ye zaroori hai wo naak ku dikhave ke liye balke naak ke andar ke hisse tak paani pahunchayen. Isitarha kulli karne se bhi paani halaq tak pahunchayen. Neez gusul karne walon ke liye zaroori hai ke wo naak saaf Karen tu paani naak ki upri hisse tak pahunchayen, aur kulli karne tu halaq tak pahunchayen, warna ghusul sahi nahi honga.

8.       Zyada bheed baad me rehne se bachen.

9.       Tamaam masajid me namaaz jumma ka qutba aur namaaz char (4) jumma tak ek se ded baje tak (1:00 pm to 1:30 pm) tazbih par qatm hoga.

10.   Masajid ke zimedaron se guzarish hai ke paaki safai ka qaas qayal rakehn, chan dino tak masajid ke towel aur topiyan nikalden.

Allah rabbul izzat ham sabku har qisam ke dabao aur bimariyonaur qaas kar Carona virus jaisi dabao se mehfooz rakhen.

Chicken is safe and healthy, has nothing to do with Corona virus: KPFBA

Bangalore - 15 Feb 2020: As fake news  of chicken infected from Novel Coronavirus (COVID2019) has been making the rounds in Bangalore and elsewhere, the Karnataka Poultry Farmers and Breeders Association (KPFBA) which did ‘fact checks’ said that some ‘vested interests’ are ‘harming’ the poultry sector which is not even ‘remotely connected’ to the virus.

The President of KPFBA, Dr. Sushanth Rai has emphatically stated that some vested interests are spreading ‘fake news’ on social media about chicken and coronavirus when there is absolutely no connection between the two. Even reports from China where the virus has had the most  lethal impact, scientists and researchers who performed detailed bioinformatics analysis of the sequence of 2019-nCoV have suggested that the coronavirus might have come from snakes.

The KPFBA President said with ‘fake news’ spreading on social media, the poultry sector was going through a crisis. “Such misinformation is like a double-edged sword, on the one hand fear is created among consumers thus depriving them of protein-rich and healthy food, and on the other, the farmer who is the backbone of the Indian economy, is economically affected due to low off-take of chicken.”  Poultry sales had drastically come down due to the misinformation campaign, he said and reiterated that poultry meat and products are safe for consumption.

Dr. Sushanth Rai cited the clarification from the Union Ministry of Animal Husbandry which categorically states that poultry was not found to be involved in the transmission of COVID2019 to humans in any report globally. The Animal Husbandry Commissioner, Praveen Malik in a February 11 letter to the Poultry Federation of India said “In this context, this is to clarify that the predominant route of transmission of 2019 nCoV, appears to be human to human, as per World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) though 2019 nCoV may not have had an animal source, which requires further investigation.” 

The Animal Husbandry Commissioner also mentioned that ‘similar viral outbreaks of coronavirus in past (SARS 2002-03, MERS 2012-13) or corona-associated common cold had no involvement of poultry and poultry products world over. The Commissioner further said “Thus, with knowledge of present affairs of 2019 nCoV, consumption of poultry and poultry products may be considered safe. The general principles of hygiene, however, may be followed as per the suggestions of World Health Organisation or OIE.” 

Dr. Sushanth Rai urged the mainline media to help combat the menace of ‘fake news’ which has been affecting in more ways than one. Presently, both the consumers and the poultry farmers are affected by such rumours.

It may be mentioned here that in the February 13 press conference by the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan who is monitoring India’s preparedness on COVID2019, there is no mention of poultry products impacting health.

My visit to 'Mehdavia Jama Masjid' Pallakkad, Kerala

As Salam alaikum Rahmathulahi Wa Barakatahu.

Today once again I had an opportunity to visit the only Mehdavia Masjid in Kerala. Earlier this Masjid was Known as 'Mehdavia Jama Masjid' which is situated at the Daira Street of Pallakad in Kerala. This was the only Mehdavia Masjid in Kerala and was also popularly known as 'Urdu Jamia Masjid' where the Jumma Bayan was done in Urdu in the entire Kerala State. During my last visit to this masjid some six years ago, I had a very nostalgic & spiritual experience while I went there and offered my Isha. I could also see the name written on the walls as 'Mehdavia Urdu Jama Masjid'.

But now this masjid is being rebuilt to suit to the present requirements, though nicely planned and constructed however, I couldn't locate the name that I saw six years back. Now unfortunately, it is known as "Hanafi Urdu Jama Masjid', you may search it in Google.

Almost all the families have gone out of our core aqaid, and have employed a Non Mehdavi imam.

As I couldn't go to ziyarat last time I made it a point to visit this time, met one of the mussalli who still looks like a Mehdavi to show me the Payan. He sent the mouzin (a Hafiz-e-Quran from Bihar) with me to show the Payan. Unfortunately the Payan is in a very bad condition and looks dilapidated with lots of bushes all around the compound. Thankfully it is protected with a very strong stone wall (it seems the compound was built at least a century back).

The historical significance of this Daira is that, During the period of Nawab Hyder Ali ( 1720 – 7 Dec 1782)  Tippu Sultan (20 Nov1750 - 4 May 1799) the Sultans of Mysore, during their reign, had sent a troop to this region for a war. The troop was predominantly Mehdavi Soldiers, along with them Murshideen too accompanied. There is a fort by name Palakkad Fort which was recaptured and rebuilt grandly by Sultan Hyder Ali in 1766 by the same troops. The troop got settled in Pallakad and established a Mehdavia Daira here. This area is still known as Daira Mohalla or Daira Street.

I pray and hope that Almighty Allah swt restore the faith soon with Mehdavia aqaid to all those who have gone out.

کرگول میں ایک روزہ مفت آنکھوں کا چککپ کیمپ

BASE organised a Mega Free Eye Check-up Camp in Kirgaval, Mandya District

Kirgaval, 8 December 2019:  A free eye check-up camp was organized for people of all religions by a group of friends under the banner of BASE [Bureau for Awareness & Socio-Economic Empowerment] in Kirgaval, Mandya District. The Camp was organised with the help of experts from Dr. Solanki Eye Hospital, Bangalore.  About 325 people were examined and 200+ reading glasses / Free lenses and spectacles were distributed free of cost to the needy patients while 36 patients were referred for eye surgery. The Camp started at 9:00 a.m and went up to 3:30 pm at a Function Hall in Kirgaval.  The Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval extended its support to BASE being the host Organisation to conduct the Free Eye Check-up Camp smoothly by arranging local logistics support, venue and inviting beneficiaries to the camp. 

About 16 patients came forward to undergo the free surgery and they were taken to Vijaya Nethralaya, Bangalore on the same evening (8th Dec 2019). The operations were performed on the early morning of Monday, 9th December 2019. BASE team ensured their presence throughout the process and they were taken back with utmost care back to Kirgaval to drop them at their homes on the same day. A medical practitioner was also taken along so as to give instructions to the family members on precautions to be taken while on medication which needs to be followed for the next 4 weeks, as all of them were senior citizens. All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and blessed the BASE team with their prayers, while returning home. A post operation follow-up program will be done for the on Friday, 13th Dec 2019 at the same venue.

Community Interactive Seminar: 

After completing the Eye Camp on Sunday, 8th December 2019, an interactive seminar was also arranged at the same venue at 4:00 pm. The program was initiated with Qirat by Qaari Syed Shahabul Haq, and recitation of Naat-e-Rasool sas Janab Syed Zahoor Mehdi Saheb. 

Janab Zikriya Khan Saheb, Ex – Zilla Panchayath President welcomed the gathering and also thanked BASE for conducting the free eye check-up camp with which the residents of Kirgaval and neighboring vilages got benefitted.

Janab Inayath Ulla Khan Saheb, delivered opening remarks reflecting on a verse from Holy Quran - which is also a prayer to be recited for good eye-sight.

لَقَدْ كُنْتَ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنْكَ غِطَاءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ 

 [“You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp.” 50:22] 

Further, he welcomed all on behalf of BASE and felicitated dignitaries with shawls & garlands viz: Janab Syed Azmat Saheb, Janab Syed Mahmood Saheb – President of Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval, Janab Syed Saifulla Saheb – Secretary of Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval, Janab Zikriya Khan Saheb – Ex Zilla Panchayath President, Janab Dr. Taj Mohammed Saheb, Janab Syed Baqar Saheb – Program in charge of the Eye Camp, Qaari Syed Shahabul Haq Saheb and Janab Syed Zahoor Mehdi Saheb.

Janab Shah Nizam Foujdar Saheb, addressed the gathering and enlightened on how can we achieve success by getting united. He stressed on encouraging children to pursue education which is a key to make the community successful. He opined that time has come for us to start an Institution of our own and nurture it to make it a deemed university in next 20 years, and we have to give importance towards education and health. He invited all to join hands in achieving this target with their prayers

Janab Syed Mahmood Saheb – President of Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval addressed the gathering and extended his blessings to all with his well wishes and motivation to the BASE to carry on the good work.

Chief Guest of the program Janab Mohammed Sajjad Khan Saheb, ACP – Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore addressed the gathering and congratulated BASE for taking up the noble initiative in a rural place like Kirgaval. He sought the prayers of all the elders to bless the members of BASE so that they can do more such programs in different localities of our community. He stressed upon getting united and be known to each other, find a way to identify the pain points of our community and address them in an organised manner. He suggested conducting regular surveys to get a database of our community which will help us identify the issues and challenges faced by our people and also will be helpful in finding solutions and giving directions to the needy. 

Janab Syed Suhail Nizami Saheb compered & concluded the seminar and thanked all the Office Bearers of both BASE & Anjuman-e-Mehdavia Kirgaval, all the volunteers, participants, doctors and specially thanked the Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval for whole heartedly extending their support and hospitality for conducting this program.
