As we are just a few hours away from the holy month of Ramazan, and everyone is anxiously waiting to see the Crescent of Ramazan as a divine command to start Tararavi and Roza. We would like to keep you informed about the various arrangements done by Mehdavia Jamats across the world particularly away from daira. In this post, we would like to inform you where you can offer Namaz-e-Taravee in Bangalore, Karnataka. Alhamdulillah, in Bangalore, we have 3 permanent venues and one more is added for temporary arrangements for the month of Ramazan.

Jamiat-e-Mahdavia, Matadahalli: Alhamdulillah Jamiat-e-Mahdavia, Matadahalli is one of the oldest Jamat Khana of Mehdavis, and serves the community by arranging various activities such as major behr-e-Aams, namaz-e-eidain, meelad, jalsa etc. moreover ensures to organize Taravee Prayers with completion of Quran since many years. The Jamat Khana is located in RT Nagar Bangalore, it is convenient for people residing in the northern portion of Bangalore, well connected by BMTC bus. Please ensure to park your cars on Devegowda Road, though some two-wheelers can be parked around the premises. Hyderabad 18 Feb 2023: Committee Naujawanan-e-Qaum-e-Mehdavia, Hyderabad is organising a Jalsa on Shab-e-Mehraj on 18th February 2023 at Masjid-e-Bada Daira, New Road, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad. The program will start with Namaz-e-Mughrib and conclude after Namaz-e-Isha.

Shab-e-Mehraj will also mark the Urs of four prominent buzurgan-e-deen, accordingly the 513th Urs-e-Mubarak of Hz. Rangrez Shohda Rz (Ahmedabad), Hazrata Syeda BiBi Kadbanu Rz - Zoja Hz Bandagi Meeran Syed Mahmood SAANI MEHDI Rz (Bhiloot Shareef), Hazrath Kabeer Mohammed Rz, Hazrath Ismail Rz, Hazrata Bibi Sayeda Ayesha RA Bint Hz. 15 Feb 2023: Muslim Mehdavia Farah Masjid & Madresa Charitable Trust AhmedNagar, Nayandhalli Bangalore, announced that it is going to conduct Free Eye Health and Camp followed by Majlis-e-Shab-e-Mehraj at its premises on Saturday, 18th Feb 2022.

In the morning session, stretched between 10 am to 2:30 pm the Free Health and Eye Camp will be organized.  Patients are requested to bring along a copy of Aadhar cards.

The Free Eye Camp is conducted in association with Vijaya Eye Care Hospital, Nagarbhavi Bangalore. In this Free Eye Testing and Analysis with Medicines will be Provided. Spectacles will be provided to all needy patients at a Maximum discounted price of less than Rs.350/. Cataract and Eye Correction & other required Operations/Surgeries will be done through Vijaya Eye Specialty Hospital Nagarbhavi at a very Nominal and affordable cost of Rs.3500/.

For the Free Health Camp, Dr. Syeeda Salma Banu [MD (OBG) Gynecologist. Rtd Principal & Proffessor .GUMC Blore] Dr. Syed Tasadukh Ahmed (General Physician) Dr. Mubeen Taj Khanum, Consultant Gynecologist) will provide free consultations.

In the Evening Session  Majlis-e-Shab-e-Mehraj will be hosted in Masjid, which will begin soon after Namaz-e-Maghrib and ends Namaz-e-Isha.  The majlis will be presided over by Samsul Hukma Prof. Hz. Syed Shahabul Haq Saqib Khundmiri Saheb. while Qari-ul-Quran Hz. Mashayaq Maulana Syed Meeran Ashrafi Miyan Saheb (Donabaghatta),  Hz.Mashayaq Moulana Moulvi Fazil Syed Ashraf Zakiulla Mehmoodi Miyan Saheb (Channapatna) and Hz. Faqir Hafeez-e-Quran Mohammed Khizar Saheb, Khateeb o Imam Farah Masjid ( Nayandanahalli ) will deliver speeches on select topics for the day.

During this session it is also planned to felicitate Hafiza-e-Quran Nashra Taj Saheba (Donabaghatta) and Hafiza-e-Quran Syeda Malkan Saheba (Channapatna) who completed their Hifz courses recently.

Dr. Inayath Ulla s/o Late Mahaboob Hazrat ahle Kirgaval took charge as Principal of Oxbridge College of Pharmacy,  Bangalore on 2nd Jan 2023. Mr. Inayath Ulla Khan s/o Abdul Khader Khan, Founder, Mehdavia Times Welfare Trust and Mr. Shahnizaam, Secretary, Muslim Mehdavia Farha Masjid & Madrasa Trust, Bangalore took the opportunity to felicitate him in his college.

Dr. Inayath Ulla has 21 years of great teaching experience, of which he spent a decade of adventurous journey as Faculty at Farooqia College of Pharmacy, Mysore. Last year he was conferred with a Ph.D in Pharmaceutics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

We hope he will continue to serve our community through the new chapter of his career in Bangalore, as he used to guide our youngsters in pharma education while he was working in Mysore. May Allah give him and all our brethren success in their respective fields and in the hereafter also. Aamin.

SIPAHE celebrated 'The International Day of Persons with Disabilities' on 3rd December 2022 by distributing wheelchairs and walkers in Hyderabad

Hyderabad - 4 December 2022: Alhamdulillah it is reported that SIPAHE, an active NGO operating in Chanchalguda / Old City Hyderabad celebrated 'The International Day of Persons with Disabilities' on 3rd December 2022 by distributing wheelchairs and walkers. 

In a statement released by SIPAHE they stated that "On this occasion, the SIPAHE re-affirms its commitment to work together for a better world that is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable for everyone, where the rights of people are fully realized including that of persons with disability.  In many societies, persons with disabilities often end up disconnected, living in isolation, and facing discrimination. More than one billion people out of the total population of more than seven billion in the world live with some form of disability."

As a token of our commitment to uplift and empower this section of neglected people the SIPAHE successfully motivated its members & well-wishers to provide four wheelchairs and two walkers to persons with restricted mobility. 

One of the recipients of the wheelchair is a woman with an amputated lower limb. The second one is a man with both lower limbs amputated, the third one is a woman about 55 years of age suffering from brain stroke and one side of her body is paralyzed & the fourth one is a mentally retarded young man, and the other two persons with temporary mobility problems were presented with walkers.     

"Kindness is something we are gifted by Allah and have to pass it on to the next generation by setting up examples by our deeds so that it can be carried further and further," said Mr. Mansoor Ahmed khan, president SIPAHE.

“The SIPAHE wishes to work towards increased awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic, and cultural life,” said Fazil Mohammed Khan General Secretary. 

Mr.Abdul Sattar - Joint Secretary, Mr. Mohammed Wajid Mehdi, Mr. Syed Mukhtar Mehdi executive members of SIPAHE and Volunteers Ayez Mohammed Khan, Ayman Mohammed Khan, and Abdul Khader were present on the occasion. 

SIPAHE stands for Society for Integrated Progress And Human Empowerment, is an active NGO operating in Chanchalguda, Old City Hyderabad which is run by professionals with varied backgrounds. Alhamdulillah, I had an opportunity to visit their office last week and it was a pleasure to meet Mr. Mansoor Ahmed Khan, President, and Mr.Fazil Mohammed Khan General Secretary of SIPAHE. Indeed, I am impressed by the kind of services they are trying to deliver to society.  While its president is a Professor of English its Secretary is a practicing, Lawyer. SIPAHE is registered as Society under the Societies Act of Telangana State. May Allah give success to all the members of SIPAHE to carry out the good work. Aameen.
