Hyderabad - 4 December 2022: Alhamdulillah it is reported that SIPAHE, an active NGO operating in Chanchalguda / Old City Hyderabad celebrated 'The International Day of Persons with Disabilities' on 3rd December 2022 by distributing wheelchairs and walkers.
In a statement released by SIPAHE they stated that "On this occasion, the SIPAHE re-affirms its commitment to work together for a better world that is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable for everyone, where the rights of people are fully realized including that of persons with disability. In many societies, persons with disabilities often end up disconnected, living in isolation, and facing discrimination. More than one billion people out of the total population of more than seven billion in the world live with some form of disability."
As a token of our commitment to uplift and empower this section of neglected people the SIPAHE successfully motivated its members & well-wishers to provide four wheelchairs and two walkers to persons with restricted mobility.
One of the recipients of the wheelchair is a woman with an amputated lower limb. The second one is a man with both lower limbs amputated, the third one is a woman about 55 years of age suffering from brain stroke and one side of her body is paralyzed & the fourth one is a mentally retarded young man, and the other two persons with temporary mobility problems were presented with walkers.
"Kindness is something we are gifted by Allah and have to pass it on to the next generation by setting up examples by our deeds so that it can be carried further and further," said Mr. Mansoor Ahmed khan, president SIPAHE.
“The SIPAHE wishes to work towards increased awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic, and cultural life,” said Fazil Mohammed Khan General Secretary.
Mr.Abdul Sattar - Joint Secretary, Mr. Mohammed Wajid Mehdi, Mr. Syed Mukhtar Mehdi executive members of SIPAHE and Volunteers Ayez Mohammed Khan, Ayman Mohammed Khan, and Abdul Khader were present on the occasion.
