A interview of Brother Syed Shafiulla Khundmiri by Inayath Ulla Khan of Mehdavia Times.

Some of the Mehdavia brothers in Channapatna joined together and started a summer camp in Channapatna recently. The Camp is spear headed by Brother Syed Shafiulla Khundmiri in his mid 30s. Brother is a very active youth and he constantly travels to most of the dairas for ziyarat and tableegh. When we learned about the camp we approached him to have a brief interview with him, So that the same can be replicated every where. Here is a snap shot of the interview….

MT: As salam alaikum Rahmath Ullahi wa Barakatahu.

SSUK: Wa alaikum as salaam Rahmath Ullahi wa Barakatahu.

MT: Brother we came to know about the Summer Camp you are conducting, what is it all about?

SSUK: Yes, it is “Mehdavia Deeni Darzgha Bara-e-Niswan”, targeted at women and it is an awareness program about Deen-e-Islam in general & Mehdaviath in particular.

MT: How many participants taking part in your camp?

SSUK: There are about 30 Women

MT: What are the Class timings? And what is the Syllabus you are following?

SSUK: The class starts at 10 am and ends at 5:30 pm

• 10:00-11:00 Dars-e- Quran
• 11:00-12:00 Dars-e- Hadis
• 12:00-1:00 Naqliyat-e-Imam Mehdi Alaihis salam
• 1:00-2:00 Lunch Break & Namaz-e-Zuhur
• 2:00-3:00 Deeniyat, Fiqhi Masayel
• 3:00-4:00 Dastkari, Kashidakari
• 4:00-5:00 Sawan-e-Mehdi-e-Maud Alaihis Salaam
• 5:00-5:30 Namaz-e-Asar followed by Zikruallah

 

MT: Who are the Faculties?

SSUK:This nacheez Banda Syed Shafiullah Khundmiri takes classes for Naqliyat-e-Imam Mehdi Alaihis salam & Sawan-e-Mehdi-e-Maud Alaihis Salaam.

Sister Syeda Khutija Banu Mansuri, Mualima, W/o Syed Yahya Khundmiri, takes Dars-e- Quran, Dars-e- Hadis & Fiqhi Masayel.

And Sister Syeda Nasreen Banu Ishaqui d/o Faqeer Syed Miyan Saheb Miyan Ishaqui, conducts Dastkari-o-Kashidakari workshop.

MT: When did the Camp started on?

SSUK: 1st April 2010 AD / 15 Rabbi-us-Sani 1431 AH

MT: What is the Duration of the camp?

SSUK: 30 days

MT: Where is the Camp held?

SSUK: The camp is being held at Al Ameen Allahdad School, Channapatna.

MT: Who are the supporters of the Camp?

SSUK: There are few Bandagan-e-Khuda who prefers to be Anonymous, felt of conducting this program and approached us to do so. And they are also issuing stipends to the needy participants. Let Allah give them rewards both in this world and the hereafter.

MT: What are the Future plans?

SSUK: Insha Allah these activities will be repeated again, in near future.

MT: What is the response of the participants?

SSUK: With enthusiasm, got benefited a lot from this camp, learnt basics of Islam, and easy ways to follow the teachings of Imamanna Alaihis salaam.

MT: Who are the participants?

SSUK: The participant includes Daily wage women, Beedi workers, Yateem girls, Widow Women and also common ladies of the daira.

As I said, some of the needy participants were given a small stipend everyday to meet their daily expenses.

MT: What do others say about your camp?

SSUK: All are happy, people are encouraging us to conduct this regularly, Specially Hz. Mashayaq Syed Mustafa Miyan Sahab Khundmiri helped us a lot to develop the syllabus of the camp.

MT: What do you think the Out come the camp?

SSUK: The participants got benefited a lot from this camp, learned basics of Islam, and easy ways to follow the teachings of Imamanna Alaihis salaam.

MT: How do you feel after conducting the camp?

SSUK : We got total satisfaction by training so many women by guiding them to the right path. We are very happy that we got an opportunity to train that segment which needs a lot more attention at this point of time.

MT: what is your primary motto behind conducting this camp?

SSUK: our primary motto is to spread the message of truth.

MT: When will this camp conclude?

SSUK: Insha Allah it will conclude in the first week of May 2010 with a small Jalsa.

MT: Do you want to give any Message to the Community?

SSUK: I request one and all to come forward and conduct such programs regularly, which will benefit one and all. Especially, I request the rich people to come forward in funding such programs and also the intellectuals and scholars to contribute such programs by training others in these programs. I humbly thank those who contributed financially to run such this august program, through which we were able to give stipend to the needy women everyday, after the program finished. Which otherwise they would had earned elsewhere for their livelihood. This way they were not distracted to earn their daily wage and also got the opportunity to learn the Deen.-e-Islam in general & Mehdaviath in particular. And also Dastkari & Kashidakari aswell.

Let Allah guide us to the right path, and to follow the foot steps of Khatimain AHS. And Let Allah increase in all of us knowledge, to conduct such programs and to get benefited from this. And also I pray Almighty Allah to give success in this world and the in hereafter to the organizers the faculty, the participants and also those who have supported this noble program directly or indirectly. Ameen.
