Hyderabad 29 Nov 2019: Committee Jaan Nisar-e-Mehdi Maud Alahi Salam announced that they are hosting a Grand Jalsa-e-Aam Khatimun Nabi Waji Takhleeq-e-Kayanaat Ahmed-e-Mujtaba Mohammed Mustafa sas at Zaiqa Hotel near Yadullahi Masjid at 8:30 pm on Saturday 30 November 2019.

Dear Brothers and Sisters
The Word of Allah, Qur'an States "The Mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish regular prayers, and practice regular charity, and fear none(at all) except Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance" (Surah At-Taubah 9:18).
The above Quranic saying signifies the importance of a Masjid (the house of Allah) regarding those pious and true believers who build, practice and maintain the mosques in the same way as they fear none but Allah. It means any participation in building a mosque leads to great rewards. Subhan Allah. In view of this, we are glad to share the good news about the completion of a new Mehdavia Masjid at Bannur.

Dear readers, we know that Bannur is the town of Mysore District  (Karnataka State), 25 km from Mysore, 25 km from Kirgaval and 60km from Channapatna. We also, know that there is a considerable population of the Mehdavia community resides in Bannur taluk. Unfortunately, there were certain incidents in the past to disturb the Mehdavia dynamics of Bannur and its Daira community. Currently, there are two big Masjids belonging to the Mehdavia community, properly-being maintained and under the control of Murshideen of Bannur and Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Bannur.

Dear Brothers and Sisters - Due to an increase in population, we have seen a lot of Mehdavis residing in the old Daira moving to new areas of Bannur. As a result, the new colony has emerged on SRP Road, approximately one km away from old Daira, where the majority is the Mehdavia community. It becomes a religious obligation to safeguard our faith and creed. In order to secure the Mahdavi brethren from any external influence, a Masjid and presence of Murshid were necessary to counter any challenges. This was locally felt by Peer-o-Murshid, Qibla Syed Asghar Miyan Sahib Ishaqhi, who approached Farah Committee Emarat(FCE) by offering his own site(land) available in the same area. Murshid's plan was to build a Masjid and run under his Imamat and Irshadi. This proposal and plan were discussed and Farah Committee Emarat agreed to be a part of this prestigious project. Al Hamdu Lillah, FCE facilitated the required funds to complete the construction of Masjid (FI Sabi Lillah). Today a very beautiful structure of Masjid is ready to offer Salah. The Last Messenger of Allah, Prophet Mohammed (SAS) said ' Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise' (Jannat). (Sahih al-Bukhari: 439).

We feel proud and happy to host an event to inaugurate this beautiful house of Allah for Salah, Zikr and Dars-o-Tadrees. We pray this becomes a center of Ibadaat-e-Ilahi. This Auspicious arrangement has been arranged on 1st December 2019 for the opening of Masjid by Hazrat Peer o Murshid Allama Syed Meeranji Abid Khundmiri sahib Qibla. Jalsa-e-Iftitah has been arranged and Murshideen-e-Kiraam from Hyderabad, Channapatna, Kirgaval, Tamil Nadu and Bannur will witness and address this occasion.

A brief note on Maafa Maafi on 10th Moharram - as practiced in Mehdavia Community.

Dear Friends,

I would like to inform you about our beautiful practice of Mehdavia Community to forgive and seek forgiveness from each other. We mark the 10th Day of Moharam being the day of 'Maafa Maafi' ( Day of forgiving each other).

People visit each others home and seek forgiveness if they have hurt them knowingly of unknowingly by saying 'Bola Chala Maaf Karo Waaste Allah Ke' then the second person responds by saying 'Maine maaf kiya waaste Allah ke. Aap bhi mujhe maaf karo waaste Allah ke' and the first person replies saying 'Maine bhi maaf kiya waste Allah ke'.

The translation goes like this.

• First Person: Please forgive me for the sake of Allah ( if I have have hurt you knowingly or unknowingly)
• Second Person: I forgive you for the sake of Allah, you too please forgive me (if I have have hurt you knowingly or unknowingly)
• First Person: I too have forgiven you for the sake of Allah.

This is being practiced as part of our faith, as Allah says in Quran (2:263) 'To speak a kind word and to forgive people’s faults is better than charity followed by hurt. Allah is All-Sufficient, All-Forbearing.' 📗


The host (second person) offers sharbat (traditionally made by jaggery and banana, now there are various types)

Nowadays, online mediums are helping us to convey our messages with our loved one who are spread across geographies, but we miss the sweet, delicious sharbat from our neighborhood.

I take this opportunity to seek forgiveness from all our relatives & friends and assure you that I too have forgiven you for the sake of Allah by saying 'Bola Chala Maaf Karo Waaste Allah Ke, Maine bhi maaf kiya waste Allah ke'

I am glad to inform you that,  Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah, it is a great feeling to know that Bhai Inayath Ulla Khan s/o Faqeer Janab Abdul Khader Khan Saheb Ahl e Mandya, received SEVA PURASKAR award for his social service, from Bangalore Peace Organisation & Rayan Educational Society of India on the eve of Independence Day Celebrations in Bangalore on 15 Aug 2019. The Program was presided by Dr Amjad Hussain Hafiz Karnataki - Chairman, Karnataka Children's Academy, and the following dignitaries were present on stage to award him, Dr. Hydera Ali Khan Sahab, Janab G.A Bava sahab - Chairman, Karnataka Minority Commission & Ex, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Janab. Vali Basha Sahab - ACP VV Puram, Bangalore, Dr. Maulana Shameem Saliq Gen Secy Jamia Minhaj-ul-Uloom, Dr. C.K Maula Shariff Sahab, and Janab Mohammed Sajjad Khan sahab ACP Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore. Janab Suhail Nizami Sahab & Janab Rafi Dharwadkar.

Bhai Inayath Ulla Khan has been consistently involved in various Social services and undoubtedly the recognization is also due to the kind of support people from different community and religion has given him.

Apart from his services to Mehdavia community through Mehdavia Times, his social services to many others in different spheres which he practices saliently only for the sake of Allah, were recognized by Bangalore Peace Organisation & Rayan Educational Society of India. He believes in practicing Individual Social Responsibility, in whatever possible means, which gives positive vibes to all those who are closely associated with him and understands him to the core.

I heartily congratulate him and Thank him all for your continued support and ensure encouragement, motivation and prayers.

Further, we are also happy to note that Janab Nizam Faujdar Sahab -  Spokesperson - Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee - KPCC. Seven year young Rozedar Hasnain Ulla Khan fasting in the entire Holy Month of Ramzan ul Mubarak - By Tausif D Sayyed.

On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr - 2019

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah dear brothers and sisters in faith.

Ever seen kids not fasting in the holy month of Ramzan and saying "Mera Khaata Peeta roza hai". Even I have done this in my childhood.

However, Master Hasnain Ulla Khan S/O Janab Inayath Ulla Khan {Mehdavia Times} Ahl e Mandya,  is a greatest example of determination, dedication and devotion in a very young age of 7.

Fasting for all Ramzan days in the summer season by Husnain Ulla while advancing from last year's four Rozap provesthat he is already aware why Allah wants us to fast and achieve Taqwa ( piety / Fear of Allah ) and what it benefits for doing such an act everyday for all Ramzan days for the sake of Allah.

Certainly, and undoubtedly, when Allah gives Hidayat ( Guidance ) nobody can affect / distract that person.

Hasnain Ulla is a very quite, though extremely passionate child whom I have personally seen with great self discipline, kindest way of questioning, respect for his great parents and immense love for his siblings.

Fasting for all the days in Ramzan ul Muqaddas by him not only gives him courage and confidence for the next year, but also very beneficial for other kids under 10 who usually refrain from fasting thinking its going to be difficult or rather impossible.

I believe major credit of Hasnain Ulla Khan's achievement surely goes to his great parents.

Mohotaram Janab Inayath Ulla Khan Sahab and his wife Mohotarma Hajiya Shabreen Begum (Bhabiji) live their lives in simplicity and with highest level of thinking. My personal experience staying in their home has brought to me a conclusion that if you are going higher and higher in terms of worldly progress or Divinity, one should be that much mindful to be grounded consistently.

I understood that no part of this world should really affect us, for bad and good times are all temporary. Without such guidance and spiritual richness they possess, no kid / children would attain such dedication like Hasnain.

On behalf of my entire family, I wish Hasnain Ulla Khan the best of his Fortune, and may Allah give him all the success, happiness and never ever keeps him deprived about anything in this world or hereafter.

I strongly believe Hasnain will continue Fasting in the coming Ramzans every year, and perform all the Ibadat for the sake of Allah.

I heartily pray for his health and he remains the same loving respectful child for his beautiful parents.

He is indeed an example for all the kids who are too much engrossed in digital playing and worldly pleasures.

He and his siblings are auch a benchmark that I have always been giving his example to all the known parents.

May Allah guide everyone of us to the right path to achieve the intention for what we have been sent for, Ba Sadaqe Tufail Khaatimain Alayhi Salam.
