As the holy month of Ramadan dawns upon us, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a blessed Mah-e-Ramazan Mubarak to all. May this sacred time be filled with divine blessings, acceptance of fasts, devotion, almsgiving, and prayers, showering us with Allah's infinite mercy and grace. Aameen.

Approaching the revered night of Lailatul Qadr, we are honored to express our deepest appreciation to the dedicated volunteers and organizations who tirelessly facilitate these sacred celebrations for our global Mehdavia community year after year, in various countries.

The commitment and dedication of these volunteers and organizations are truly inspiring. From arranging venues to inviting Murshideen (spiritual leaders) from India, they ensure that our brethren have the opportunity to come together, reconnect with their cultural heritage, and strengthen their faith during Lailatul Qadr. Even in smaller groups, the devotion to upholding traditions remains steadfast, with elders stepping forward to lead prayers and guide their fellow believers. Let us unite once again in prayer and devotion, seeking the blessings of this holiest of night.

As you are aware, Alhamdulillah, for over a decade, operating under the pen name "Mehdavia Times," we have been privileged to compile prayer schedules and contact details of organizers and venues on our blog. This labor of love has been aimed at assisting our community members, dispersed worldwide due to professional commitments, in locating their nearest congregations and participating in spiritual gatherings during this auspicious time.

We are glad to share that, Alhamdulillah, we have commenced the collection of the Worldwide Lailatul Qadr Schedule for the year 2024 (1445 AH) - schedule, slated for Friday, 5th April 2024, in the Middle East, and Saturday, 6th April 2024, in India. This listing has been instrumental in aiding many Mehdavi Brothers & their families in locating our Jamats scattered across the globe. 

We invite you to join hands with us in earning Sawab-e-Jaariya by Spreading the Light of Iman and Connecting Momins. Kindly assist us in compiling the schedule of Masjids / Jamat Khanas by providing details of Jamats, even if the Masjids / Jamat Khanas are situated in the remotest corners of the earth.

We urge you to utilize this platform to its fullest extent and help our brethren connect with the nearest Jamat to join them during Lailatul Qadr Namaz.

The Government of Telangana allotted 125 Acre of land for construction of Model Graveyards for Muslim Minorities

Hyderabad - 24 September 2023: The Government of Telangana on the representations made by Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi Saheb, Hon'ble MLA and Floor Leader, AIMIM, for allotment of Government land for Muslim Graveyards, held a function today at Pragati Bhavan, wherein Shri K. Taraka Rama Rao, Hon'ble Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Industries and Commerce and Information Technology, Electronics and Communications on behalf of Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Telangana has handed over an extent of 125 Acres for construction of Model Graveyards for Muslim Minorities to the Hon'ble Chairman Janab Mohammed Masiullah Khan and Janab S.Khaja Moinuddin, Chief Executive Officer, Telangana State Wakf Board during a programme held today on 24-09-2023 at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad. 

The details of the lands allotted vide G.O.Ms.No. 94, Revenue (Land Administration.  II) Department, Dated: 07-08-2023 are as follows:

The said Programme was attended by Janab Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Hon'ble Minister for Home, Prisons, Fire Services of Telangana, Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi, Hon'ble MLA & Floor Leader, AIMIM, Janab Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, Hon'ble MLA, Janab Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Hon'ble Chairperson, Telangana State Wakf Board, Janab Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS (Retd.), Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department, Janab S.Khaja Moinuddin, Chief Executive Officer, Telangana State Wakf Board, Janab Syed Akbar Nizamuddin Hussaini, Hon'ble Board Member, TSWB, Janab Syed Nisar Ahmed (Hyder Agha), Hon'ble Board Member, TSWB, along with other religious heads from various communities i.e. Sunni, Shia, Mahdavia, Bohra, and Sulemani. 

Alhumdulillah, Hazrath Kashif Miya Saheb President Markazi Anjuman-e-Mahdavia, Chanchalguda received documents of allotment of land for the graveyard of Muslim Mehdavia Community's graveyard. some of the prominent representatives were invited to attend the handing-over program and I am delighted to share that I was also one of the invitees, but unfortunately could not make it to attend to witness this historic movement due to distance and short notice period. We take this opportunity to congratulate all those who were instrumental in getting this good initiative and coordinated directly and indirectly.

Speaking on Phone Hz.Peer-o-Murshid Syed Mahmood Shahabuddin Kashif Miyan Saheb, President Markazi Anjuman-e-Mahdavia, Chanchalguda expressed his happiness and gratitude to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Telangana  Sri. Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, Janab Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Hon'ble Minister for Home, Prisons, Fire Services of Telangana, Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi, Hon'ble MLA & Floor Leader, AIMIM, Janab Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, Hon'ble MLA and Janab Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Hon'ble Chairperson, Telangana State Wakf Board.

Further, Hz. Kashif Miyan Saheb informed that his father Siraj-e-Millat Hazrath Syed Atan Shehab  Mehdavi Ex-President Markazi Anjuman e Mehdavia (Marhum), who had a very good rapport with Janab Asaduddin Owaisi the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief and Member of Parliament, had initiated talks with him and requested him to allot 20-25 acres of land for Mehdavia Community, while Mr. Owaisi had visited him during the last phase of his life. Alhamdulillah,  his request is now fulfilled and other minority communities also benefitted from this process through this scheme.

Janab Arshad Ali Khan Sahab and a few more members of our community were also present during the occasion.

All the religious Heads / Dignitaries present during the program expressed their gratitude to the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao for the allocation of Government land for Muslim graveyards for the Muslim Community of Telangana State.

The Waqf Board will take necessary action to provide proper pathways along with arrangements for ghusal, kaffan and daffan at each of the above locations and no fees will be collected for burials. Construction of compound walls will be taken up by the Waqf Board in due course.

The Waqf Board will construct Ghusul Khana and Wazu Khana at respective graveyards and also provide free ambulance facilities to the poor and needy for transportation of deceased to the above graveyards.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ 

To Him belongs the primal origin of the universe (Quran 2:117).

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍۢ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّۭ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ ٢

Your Lord is He who raises the celestial bodies with an invisible pillar and is firmly established on the throne of authority. He has subjected the sun and the moon (and all other celestial bodies) to His (gravitational laws) each pursuing a course for a term appointed (in accordance with those laws). He governs everything that exists (Quran 13:2).

ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۢ 

The sun and the moon follow prescribed pathways according to calculations (Quran 55:5).
