Announcement of the results of International Essay Competition held during Ramzan 1441H- 2020AD

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Faith

‏اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ

As the world witnessed the longest Lock-down to stop the spread of COVID-19 pandemic coupled with the occurrence of the Holy Month of Ramzan 1441H. Mehdavia Times took the initiative to conduct an International Essay writing Competition for Mehdavia Students & Proffessionals during the holy month of Ramzan. Alhamdulillah, Idara e Gulshan Mahdi AHS also joined hands to take it forward. It gives us immense pleasure and honour to inform you that Alhamdulillah we got a very good response from participants from all over the world. Now we are glad to announce the results same as under. We are very happy to realize and experience the huge talent amongst our younger generation and the capability to pen down the great values of Islam to enlighten self as well as others. The competition isn't a win-lose competition however, it really helps in upgrading and enhancing us to the next level in both Duniya-o-Akhirat.

Below were our objectives of this initiative that were met Alhamdulillah: 

• To bring our Brothers and Sisters in faith closer to their Murshideen.
• To engage our people to read Quran, Hadith, Naqliat and other Islamic Books to get enriched personally and spiritually.
• To make people Read, Think, Enquire, Write, Follow and Affect Other's Life for betterment.
• To recognize talent available amongst our Mehdavia Brethren  and Encourage them to keep Up-Grading and Up-Scaling their Skills Sets.

We categorized the essays in the following six groups to help recognize the blissful content written by the budding writers of our community:

• JE: Junior English
• SE: Senior English 
• JR: Junior Roman Urdu 
• SR: Senior Roman Urdu 
• JU: Junior Urdu 
• SU: Senior Urdu

The honorable Jury of this contest viz; Hz. Faqeer Maqasood Ali Khan Sahab, Hyderabad editor Noor-e-Vilayat for Urdu, Janab Syed Mohammed Suhail Sahab, Bangalore for English and Janab HasanMahedi Kalekazi Sahab, Shankeshwar, Belgaum for Roman Urdu, Who did a wonderful job of evaluating each entry and recognizing the best essays for their respective categories. We thank them for their immense efforts and time invested in this project, without which it would have been a challenge for the organizers to announce the results. We are honored to receive their feedback and suggestions with their blessings to repeat this program more often. 

As a token of appreciation following rewards & recognition will be awarded to the winners:

• All the participants will be get a Participation Certificate soft copy by email and Hard Copy by Post shortly.
• All the Senior Groups (English, Roman English & Urdu) will be given a cash prize as below along with One Year Subscription of Noor-e-Vilayat Monthly magazine + Certificates of appreciation.

• First Prize: ₹.3000/-
• Second Prize: ₹.2000/-
• Third Prize: ₹.1500/-
• Consolation Prize: ₹.500/- 

• All the Junior Groups (English, Roman English & Urdu) will be given a cash prize as below along with One Year Subscription of Noor-e-Vilayat Monthly magazine + Certificates of appreciation.
• First Prize: ₹.2000/-
• Second Prize: ₹.1500/-
• Third Prize: ₹.1000/-
• Consolation  Prize: ₹.500/- 
• Insha Allah the selected essays will be published in both Noor-e-Vilayat monthly and Mehdavia Times periodically (one at a time)
• All the winners are going to get a special book 'Ma'soomeen, Saaliheen, aur Hum' as a gift from Tanzeem e Mahdavia.

We would also like to mention the critical enablers of this initiative who collaborated with us with all their compliments and sponsored the prizes to the deserving participants. These partners have truly acknowledged the spirit of our youngsters in faith and we are happy for their useful steps in encouraging the winners and others as well.

Update on the International Essay Writing Competition for Mehdavia Students & Proffessionals held during the holy month of Ramazan 1441

We are glad to keep you updated that, Alhamdulillah we have received tremendous response to the International Essay Writing Competition For Mehdavia Student Community During Ramazan 1441

Alhmadulillah we have received essays from across the world in good numbers from not only students, but also working professionals, house wives and general public too. Initially we had just two categories i.e; Junior & Senior and one could have send essay in either English, Roman Urdu or Urdu languages. Due to overwhelming response and as we have received good number of essays in all the three languages, we have made Six Categories as below, so that we can do fair justice to all the languages with equal weightage 

1. Junior English
2. Senior English
3.  Junior Roman Urdu
4. Senior Roman Urdu
5. Junior Urdu &
6. Senior Urdu

At present, all the essays submitted by all of you are undergoing Evaluation at three different locations by Subject Matter Experts. We are happy to inform you that some of them are indeed the best written essays that would be surely adding value to all our people in faith. We highly appreciate your tremendous efforts to pen down your thoughts on the various topics on which you wrote beyond the one’s we gave to you. As none of the essay is worth missing it is noted that it is highly competitive in evaluating and choosing the best ones in order to award and recognize them. Hence it may take couple of more days to arrive at the results. Accordingly, Insha Allah we will be announcing the results post Eid-u-Fitr in a couple of days.

We once again thank & congratulate all the participants as well your parents / guardian / reviewer for participating in our First International Essay Writing Competition. Those who could not take part this time can do so in our future programs Insha Allah.
