BASE organised a Mega Free Eye Check-up Camp in Kirgaval, Mandya District
Kirgaval, 8 December 2019: A free eye check-up camp was organized for people of all religions by a group of friends under the banner of BASE [Bureau for Awareness & Socio-Economic Empowerment]
in Kirgaval, Mandya District. The Camp was organised with the help of experts
from Dr. Solanki Eye Hospital, Bangalore. About 325 people were examined and 200+ reading glasses / Free lenses and spectacles were distributed free of cost to the needy patients while 36 patients were referred for eye surgery. The Camp started at
9:00 a.m and went up to 3:30 pm at a Function Hall in Kirgaval. The Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval extended its support to BASE being the host Organisation to conduct the Free Eye Check-up Camp smoothly by arranging local logistics support,
venue and inviting beneficiaries to the camp.
About 16 patients came forward to undergo the free surgery and they were taken to Vijaya Nethralaya, Bangalore on the same evening (8th Dec 2019). The operations were performed on the early morning of Monday, 9th December 2019. BASE team ensured their presence throughout the process and they were taken back with utmost care back to Kirgaval to drop them at their homes on the same day. A medical practitioner was also taken along so as to give instructions to the family members on precautions to be taken while on medication which needs to be followed for the next 4 weeks, as all of them were senior citizens. All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and blessed the BASE team with their prayers, while returning home. A post operation follow-up program will be done for the on Friday, 13th Dec 2019 at the same venue.
Community Interactive Seminar:
After completing the Eye Camp on Sunday, 8th December 2019, an interactive seminar was also
arranged at the same venue at 4:00 pm. The program was initiated with Qirat by Qaari Syed
Shahabul Haq, and recitation of Naat-e-Rasool sas Janab Syed Zahoor Mehdi Saheb.
Janab Zikriya Khan Saheb, Ex – Zilla Panchayath President welcomed the
gathering and also thanked BASE for conducting the free eye check-up camp with which the residents of Kirgaval and neighboring vilages got benefitted.

Inayath Ulla Khan Saheb, delivered opening remarks
reflecting on a verse from Holy Quran - which is also a prayer to be recited for good eye-sight.
لَقَدْ كُنْتَ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنْكَ غِطَاءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
[“You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp.” 50:22]

Janab Shah Nizam Foujdar Saheb, addressed the
gathering and enlightened on how can we achieve success by getting
united. He stressed on encouraging children to pursue education which is a key
to make the community successful. He opined that time has come for us to start
an Institution of our own and nurture it to make it a deemed university in next
20 years, and we have to give importance towards education and health. He
invited all to join hands in achieving this target with their prayers
Janab Syed Mahmood Saheb – President of Anjuman-e-Mehdavia,
Kirgaval addressed the gathering and extended his blessings to all with his
well wishes and motivation to the BASE to carry on the good work.
Chief Guest of the program Janab Mohammed Sajjad Khan Saheb, ACP –
Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore addressed the gathering and congratulated BASE for taking up the noble initiative in a rural place like Kirgaval. He sought the prayers of all the elders to bless the members of BASE so that they can do more such programs in different localities of our community. He stressed upon getting united and be known to each other, find a way to identify the pain points of our community and address them in an organised manner. He suggested conducting regular surveys to get a database of our community which will help us identify the issues and challenges faced by our people and also will be helpful in finding solutions and giving directions to the needy.
Janab Syed Suhail Nizami Saheb compered & concluded the seminar and thanked all the Office Bearers of both BASE & Anjuman-e-Mehdavia Kirgaval, all the volunteers, participants, doctors and specially thanked the Anjuman-e-Mehdavia, Kirgaval for whole heartedly extending their support and hospitality for conducting this program.

Azeem o Shaan Jalsa-e-Meelad-un-Nabi sas -O-Iftetah-e-Mehdavia Isaqia Farha Jamia Masjid, Bannur - Myseoresaqia Farha Jamia Masjid
Bannur 01 Dec 2019: We are happy to inform you that, Alhamdulillah a Mehdavia Masjid got inaugurated in SRP Road, Bannur, Mysore District of Karnataka. The Masjid was built by Farah Committee Emarat (FCE) which a group of Mehdavi Brothers of Indian Origin who are presently working in UAE.
The inauguration was done with Namaz-e-Zuhr followed by Azeem-o-Shaan Jalsa-e-Meelad-un-Nabi SAS and Jalsa-e-Iftetah-e-Mehdavia Isaqia Farha Jamia Masjid at the Mehdavia Isaqia Farha Jamia Masjid premises on 1st December 2019.
The Jalsa was presided over by Hz. Peer-o-Murshid Meeranji Abid Khundmiri Saheb. Hz.Mashayaq Alhaj Qari Maulana Maulvi Syed Raj Mohammed Tashrifullahi Saheb recited Quran. Janab Syed Asadullah Saheb recited Naat-e-Rasool SAS, Janab Syed Jafar Saheb Ibrahimi welcomed the gathering.
Chief Guest Hz. Mashayaq Alhaj Afzal-ul-Ulama Syed Sarfaraz Miyan Tashrifullahi Saheb Hyderabad, Hz. Mashayaq Alhaj Maulana Maulvi Syed Waliullah Ibrahimi Saheb - Muhtameed-e-Ijma-e-Groh-e-Murshideen-e-Mehdavia, Chanpatan, Hz. Mashayaq Afzal-ul-Ulama Syed Tahseen Agha Khubdmiri Saheb addressed the gathering with their blessings. Peer-o-Murshid Syed Asghar Miyan Ishaqui Saheb delivered vote of thanks.
Janab Syed Noor-ul-Huda Mujtehdi ahle-Hyderabad Muqeem UAE Founder member FCE and Janab Syed Abdul Azeez Ahsan Yadullahi Saheb Ex-Ameer-e-Jamat of FCE were also present during the Ijlas and represented the Farah Committee Emarat.
The program got concluded with Namaz-e-Asar followed by Zikrullah and then with Namaz-e-Mughrib. Dinner was served for all the guest post Namaz-e-Mughrib.
The program was streamed live by Inayath Ulla Khan in Mehdavia Times for the benefit of those who were watching it from remote places & geographies across the world. A portion of the program is showcased below for your view.
We take this opportunity to congratulate both the Members of FCE for taking up this project and the people of Mehdavia Community Bannur for getting blessed with a new Masjid.
