It is with great sorrow I want to inform that Hzt. Syed Yaqoob Miran Mujtahedi, the author of world's largest Urdu-English dictionary - Mujtahedi's Urdu - English Dictionary (almost 3,000 pages in 3 volumes) died Yesterday,

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Wa Rajeoon

A legend in his lifetime who rose from a humble translator to a great lexicographer. 

More details follows. Most probably the tadfeen will happen today. But no news yet.
